The new Sharpening Station for Multi-Profiles SSM allows customers to get back the special slicing properties of their blades, even after intensive use in the Slicer - and this with a minimum material abrasion. The Weber SSM is designed to the last detail, and it is a completely active system. The system can be used to sharpen both, Weber involute blades with a radius of between 370 and 485 mm and circular blades with a diameter of up to 470 mm.

The SSM automatically scans the blade contour with an electronic sensor during a reference run. Obligatory set-up times belong to the past, particularly when sharpening blades of different types and sizes. Thanks to the active system, blades are also returned to their original sharpness considerably quicker and more precisely with the SSM. Passive systems require around 200 cycles before the blade can be used in the Slicer again, whereas the SSM achieves best results after very few cycles.
