For over 100 years, the Panvita Group has been producing a wide variety of fresh meat, sausage, and deli products. What began as a small operation in Gornja Radgona, Slovenia, in 1922, has evolved into a leading provider of meat products in the region. Today, the Panvita Group comprises a total of nine affiliated companies with a shared vision: to realize sustainable livestock farming and environmentally friendly food production in the field of processing sliced products.

To be able to process a wide range of sliced products and fresh meat items with flexibility, the company needed a universally applicable line solution. Samo Polanec, Head of Production at Panvita, explains why Weber is exactly the right partner for this project.

Maximizing flexibility and increasing production volume while minimizing personnel requirements - these were the demands of Panvita, a meat processing company from Slovenia. The Weber line solution, consisting of a Slicer 405 (the predecessor model of the weSLICE 4500), an Infeeder, an Overlapper, and a Weber wePACK 7000 is perfectly suited to meet these challenges: The line processes 15 different applications in two-shift operation without any delays and is operated by just one person. 

This has significantly increased production volume while reducing personnel requirements. Moreover, the flexible line solution can also accommodate the continuously growing product range of various deli meats, sausages and canned products, ensuring that Panvita maintains its position as one of the leading providers of meat products in Slovenia in the long run
