A little more service? Please!

An efficient service company has been in operation at the heart of the meat and sausage processing plants in east Westphalia for nine years already. Currently this comprises a four-person team of technicians supervised by Jürgen Zurmühlen. He is well-known in the industry as a proven expert and has more than 20 years of experience with slicing solutions from Weber. Customer demands on the availability of Weber and Textor machines are high and so the Service Center maintains a well-stocked spare parts warehouse, provides fast repair service and accompanies companies from the food processing industry with everything from commissioning to regular maintenance. Guests at the opening of the Service Center could see for themselves how well solutions from the Weber Group perform in day-to-day operations. There were live demonstrations of Slicers in different performance classes and a derinding machine. Guests were particularly interested in a demonstration of the Weber Slicer with an infeeder CCA 500 in combination with the Schröder packing machine VMAX. The purchase of Schröder Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG in April 2017 has given Weber the ability to provide the food-processing industry with complete production lines from processing to packing. "Together with Schröder we are now finally in a position to offer our customers complete packing machines from a single source," said Tobias Weber and added "I am very proud that Schröder has become a part of the Weber family. And I would like to thank the many Schröder employees who have made their way here today to celebrate with us.
