About the Weber Group

Weber Maschinenbau has been producing pioneering systems for the processing, refining and cutting of sausage, meat, cheese and other foods since 1981. From slicers to skinners, food robotics and product scanners - the Weber Group's portfolio is very diverse. The corporation, with its head office in the central Hessian city of Breidenbach, is one of the most important addresses for the food-processing industry. Customers around the world appreciate the service, know-how and the one-of-a-kind product quality that this family business offers. Round about 1,300 employees at 22 locations in 18 nations are employed at Weber Maschinenbau today. For its innovative Weber Power Control interface, the company has been awarded with the popular Red Dot Design Award in the Communication Design category in 2013 and with the iF Communication Design Award in 2014.

Textor Maschinenbau in Wolfertschwenden (Allgäu) joined the Weber Group in 2011. "Smart & Easy" are the slicer and line components that Textor manufactures. In 2017, Weber also joined forces with Schröder Maschinenbau, a family-run business from Werther (North Rhine-Westphalia).

The new addition to the Weber Group, which was founded in 1966, produces machines for the salted meat processing industry and is the worldwide market leader in this field. Since 2010, Schröder has also been manufacturing its own packaging machines.
