Many employees of the approximately 50 employees in Werther took the opportunity and proudly showed their families and friends the impressive plant. Whether on their own or during a guided tour by Weber employees: the visitors had the opportunity to explore the impressive building and take a look behind the scenes of a world market leader in cutting and packaging technology. The way led through the production halls and the modern offices past 12 exciting stations, where Weber employees presented their work areas and revealed details of work processes.
The visitors were particularly impressed by the live demonstrations of Weber cutting and packaging technology. A Weber high-performance line, consisting of the Slicer S6 and the packaging machine wePACK 7000, demonstrated every hour how sausage and cheese are cut precisely and cleanly into identical slices and landed in the packaging as cold cuts. "Our entire staff has invested a lot of time and effort to make this day so successful and present their company. That's why we are so pleased with the great response and interest of the people from the region and are thrilled by so much positive feedback," CEO Tobias Weber was pleased to say.
Not only the adults were offered a varied programme, but also the young visitors felt well entertained by painting, children's make-up and a rally. The catering for the guests was also taken care of and the purchase of food and drinks was a good thing: The proceeds from cakes, sausages and drinks were donated 100% to the Wertheraner kindergartens.
